Shipping and Returns
Helpful info for all orders:
- At checkout, shipping times listed are estimates only and not guaranteed by Minimal Gear. Always choose Priority, Express, or Guaranteed Delivery options over First Class or Standard shipping options for urgent orders.
- We generally pack and ship orders quickly, but processing any order can take up to 3 business days from the time you place your order.
- Holidays, wildfires, pandemics and severe weather can cause unforeseen shipping delays.
- If you are thru-hiking and ask us to ship to a Post Office or other address on trail, it is your responsibility to verify said address, confirm they will hold packages for thru-hikers, and arrive on time to receive your package.
- Lost package? Check in with us within 14 days - we may not be able to file a claim on your behalf after 14 days. If your package has been marked as delivered but isn't there, please wait 48 hours before contacting us - more often than not, it was just marked as delivered a day early.
- Minimal Gear is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after the tracking shows them as delivered.
- Minimal Gear is not responsible for lost or stolen packages that the tracking shows have been delivered to a freight forwarder or private mailbox service.
Domestic
Your shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.
USPS First Class Mail:
Mail, like postcards, letters in small envelopes (up to 3.5 oz), and large envelopes (up to 13 oz). Ground transit, 1-5 business days.
USPS Ground Advantage (previously First Class Package):
The new (as of 2023) standard USPS shipping method for all packages. Ground transit, 2–5 business days.
USPS Priority Mail:
Priority shipping method. Air transit, 1-3 business days.
USPS Priority Mail Express:
Express shipping method. Air transit, next day up to 2 business days.
UPS:
Per selection, based on dimensions, weight, and distance.
Free Shipping:
All orders over $50 qualify for Free Shipping. If you select this option, we will choose USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground at our discretion based on your package size, weight, and destination.
Express Shipping:
We are closed Saturday and Sunday. If you place an order after 11AM PST on a Friday, the package will not leave our warehouse until Monday.
Priority Mail Express can take up to 2 business days, especially to the Southeastern and Northeastern US.
Daily cutoff time for all shipping is 11am PST, Monday to Friday.
International
Your International shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. Unfortunately, International shipments have no guarantee for time of delivery. Please choose your option accordingly.
USPS First Class Mail International:
An envelope weighing under 1lb. Delivery speed varies by destination.
USPS Ground Advantage International (previously First Class Package):
A package between 1 and 4lbs. Delivery speed varies by destination.
USPS Priority Mail International:
A package over 4lbs. Approximate 6 - 10 days transit (not including time spent in customs). Priority Mail packages can be tracked.
USPS Priority Express Mail International:
Any express package. Approximate 3 - 5 days transit (not including time spent in customs). Express Mail packages can be tracked.
UPS Standard International:
Approximate 2 - 7 days transit (not including time spent in customs). UPS packages can be tracked.
*NOTE: Higher value items sent via UPS can incur higher C.O.D. fees for the customer
IMPORTANT: Customers are responsible for each shipping provider's brokerage fees plus their country’s duties and taxes. These are not collected, pre-paid, or determined by Minimal Gear.
If you refuse an international package or do not collect it from customs and you request a refund, the customs fees and return shipping are billed back to us and will be deducted from your refund.
Warehouse Pick Up
Local customers have the option to pick up orders from our SE Portland warehouse. Select "local pick up" at check out. Our pick up hours are 10am-4pm PST Tuesday and Thursday. Orders are generally ready for pick up next business day. You will be emailed with further information when your order is ready for pick up - please do not come in before receiving this email.
Returns
We want to make sure you love the new kit you get from Cnoc Outdoors!
If you purchased CNOC products from one of our non-US dealers, please contact the sellers directly, as they receive support from us.
We'll take back new, unused gear within 30 days of delivery. We retain the right to make the final determination of what constitutes as “new, unused” gear. Some items are not returnable, such as:

- Gift cards
- Personal care and Hygiene items

We process refunds for the item(s) once we have received your return back at our warehouse. In general, returns take approximately 1-4 business days to process.
If you believe you have received a defective or broken item, please contact us at support@cnocoutdoors.com.
You are responsible for shipping costs to return a non-warranty item. Refund is for purchased items only, shipping has been paid to the carrier and we can't refund that.
Pack your returns carefully! It is also your responsibility to pay costs related to the repair of returned items damaged in shipping due to improper packaging.
Before sending in your return, please reach out to support@cnocoutdoors.com so we have record of the return in our system.
