This little twist tie is super strong, light and plenty long enough for what you need. It easily holds up my Sawyer gravity filter system using 2 Cnoc 2L water bladers and a coupler ring (also sold here and a quality product - no leaking).
2L of water is very heavy and I was skeptical that this would hold especially after a hour or two. But it has never failed. Not on a hot summer day or snow camping below freezing. Yet it is easy to bend it into what ever shape you need. It also has a very grippy orange durable coating over the wire so if you want to hang it on the tiniest nub of a tree branch that has snapped off close to the tree trunk, it will not slide off. That is an added bonus I didn't realize I'd appreciate so much. You can't always find the perfect place to hang your gravity filter and this little wire cord helps you improvise. This is much more useful than a loop of para cord or other slippery rope. In a pinch you can use it to secure all sorts of things to your pack very quickly. You won't be unhappy with this purchase.

Extremely useful!
Such a little thing... but oh boy is this thing handy. I use it while on the job to keep my radio antenna tucked into my pack and then hang my Vecto to gravity filter water in camp. I've hung up things to dry and "fixed" broken gear...I want like five more.

Very useful tool
Used it everywhere on recent backpacking trip - clipping shoes tied in a plastic bag to my pack due to a rain storm, hanging CNOC water bladder for gravity filtration, clipped sandals to pack with this - it’s just a great piece of gear to have due to it’s flexibility and therefore versatility- and so light it’s not noticeable.
