We Are Now Proud Members Of 1% For The Planet

At Cnoc Outdoors we believe that trails are the heart of our backpacking and hiking trips, allowing us to explore the great outdoors in a less harmful way. Trails are not just a way to traverse an area, they are also a way to protect the environment, make the outdoors accessible to more people and create culture and friendship.

When we were thinking how could we give back in a way that would be right for us, that will allow us to increase diversity, help protect natural areas and maintain the fun of hiking and backpacking, we understood that helping the trails around us made the most sense. We can't support all the trails in the US, so we picked the three big trails around us: the Pacific Crest Trail, the Pacific Northwest Trail, and the Oregon Desert Trail. These 3 long trails represent what we love about backpacking: the freedom to experience so many places, being immersed in them while being isolated in nature.

We teamed up with 1% for the planet to transfer 1% of our annual revenue to the 3 organizations that care for and support the trails:

  • Pacific Crest Trail Association
  • Pacific Northwest Association
  • Oregon Natural Desert Association

We hope that you will feel part of these trails every time you make a purchase from us, no matter where, so we can together preserve and support those amazing trails.
