Three Ways to Enjoy National Public Lands Day 2018

Picture of Abert Ridge with text "Enjoy National Public Lands Day" and "Abert Ridge in the Oregon Desert"Today is the 25th anniversary of National Public Lands Day. But it's also the 50th anniversary of the National Trails System and National Wild & Scenic Rivers System.

Here are three ways to celebrate this momentous occasion.

  1. Visit a National Park. There are no entrance fees today!
  2. Join a volunteer project. Help maintain your favorite trail.
  3. Donate to a conservation organization that works hard to protect public lands.

Today and for the entire month of September, 10% of every purchase from Cnoc Outdoors will go to the Oregon Natural Desert Association. ONDA envisions a high desert in Oregon where eight million acres of public lands are conserved to ensure that fish and wildlife thrive and wild places exist for all people to treasure and explore.
